Axis Communications, a leader in network video, announces the local availability of mobile surveillance apps for its Axis Camera Companion and hosted video solutions.

The mobile surveillance apps allow the user to easily switch from live view to recorded videos from any location within their surveillance system. The integrated timeline notifies about triggered events and allows the user to take immediate action. Single images and videos of interest can easily be stored to a mobile device and shared when needed.
The Axis Camera Companion 2.2, with support for Axis Mobile Streaming, is designed to give quick and easy access to live and recorded high-definition videos even for installations where bandwidth is limited.
The apps are available for download free of charge now and compatible with iOS and Android devices, and can be downloaded from www.axis.com/products/cam_companion_software/mobile_app.htm.
