AXiZ has announced that it has been appointed an official distributor for US-based Appian Graphics, a specialist in multi-monitor graphics cards and software.
"Using one of Appian`s graphics cards to power several monitors from one PC expands the desktop and increases productivity in specialised environments," says Clayton Porter, graphics manager at AXiZ. "Leading PC manufacturers such as Dell and IBM have selected Appian cards for their workstations, and we are very pleased to include a selected range of the products in our product line-up."
An example of usage would be that of a professional financial broker or trader in a large company of stockbrokers. The job could involve keeping track of several news services such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Dow Jones, as well as monitoring risk management software. Using the Jeronimo Pro 4 Port with video - which supports up to four monitors - the user can see live news feeds, track transactions, and see video - all off the same PC
Established in 1994, Appian`s products include:
Jeronimo Family: offers superior speed and power to access and manipulate text, video and complex 2D/3D graphics across multiple monitors.
Appian Duet Family: provides excellent dual monitor performance at common business resolutions for a cost-effective price.
HydraVision: a patented and highly intuitive desktop management software that comes bundled with every Appian graphics card.
