In a glamorous black tie event, local IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz this month awarded several of its top performing resellers for 2005. Craig Brunsden, chief marketing officer, Axiz, says reseller partners form an integral part of the Axiz community and awarding them for excellent performance is one way in which Axiz can say thank you: "Axiz is appreciative of its reseller partners and is committed to developing and supporting its reseller partner network. We also believe the range of products and brands available to our reseller partners adds value to their business enterprises and, in turn, contributes to their customers` productivity."
With over 5 500 reseller partners, Axiz awarded resellers within four specific categories: enterprise, value added, small and medium and retail. Awards included leading revenue contributors, growth in revenue, biggest newcomer and most improved Ledibogo contributor.
Leading revenue contributors 2005 went to enterprise reseller Datacentrix; value added reseller Titan IT; small and medium reseller, Sylvara Technologies; and retail to Incredible Solutions SA.
Topping the list for largest growth in actual revenue 2005 was CHM Vuwani Computer Solutions for enterprise notebooks, Business Connexion Persetel Q Vector for enterprise desktops and enterprise server and storage, First Technology.
Faritec was awarded biggest newcomer in revenue 2005 within the enterprise for notebooks, desktops and servers and storage went to National Management Systems.
Most improved Ledibogo contributor was awarded to Sage Computer Technologies. "Axiz launched its Ledibogo Business Partner Programme two years ago," says Brunsden. "We passionately believe in the development of the channel to provide maximum value and unsurpassed service to end users. The Ledibogo Business Partner Programme is one way in which Axiz can contribute to the economic upliftment of previously disadvantaged resellers whilst making a real difference to the local channel in SA."
