Outdoor security that functions in all weather conditions is of the utmost importance when considering a surveillance solution, says Axiz Workgroup Product Manager Jacques Liebenberg.
Axiz Workgroup, leading IT infrastructure distributor, recently included the latest in thermal network cameras, the Axis Q1921-E, to its surveillance range.
“Axis Communication's latest thermal network cameras complement any network video system that needs to secure an area 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” says Liebenberg. Thermal images are created by the heat emitted from people, objects and vehicles. Historically, all network cameras have needed some form of light to function.
The “Q1921-E thrives in complete darkness and can detect incidences in conditions such as smoke, haze, dust and light fog, thus ensuring higher accuracy than conventional cameras”.
The Q1921-E is the ultimate outdoor ready camera, and features a built-in window heater, which is designed to withstand unfavourable weather conditions. This thermal network camera not only ensures your security needs are met, but supports H.264 video compression, which reduces bandwidth usage and storage needs by up to 80% when compared to motion JPEG. Additional features include motion detection, audio detection and detection of tampering attempts.
“Axiz Workgroup is committed to providing clients with cutting-edge surveillance technology that will secure the environment and provide state-of-the-art outdoor surveillance,” concludes Liebenberg.
