Local IT equipment wholesaler Axiz is the sole distributor of XFX-branded ATI graphics cards in South Africa. The company recently introduced the new range to meet the growing demand for ATI products from local gamers.
Axiz graphics cards product manager Nicole Jones says: “By adding ATI to our XFX range, we have enhanced and strengthened the offering, and as the sole distributor of XFX in South Africa, we are very excited.”
Market response has been remarkable, with the first ATI shipment selling out within a day, she adds.
Local gamers stand to benefit from the new range of ATI cards, as they offer impressive performance while keeping both power consumption and price low, says Axiz.
XFX has a reputation for tweaking factory models of popular graphics cards for an extra performance boost, reflected in the XXX editions of both the HD4850 and HD4870 models.
