Axiz, the leading IT infrastructure distributor, has launched the lightweight Genius SP-i200 portable speaker and Genius SP-i200U USB portable digital speaker. The Genius SP-i200 has been specifically designed for MP3 players, while the Genius SP-i200U is ideal for mobile devices such as notebooks.
"Using an advanced, high-efficiency class-D integrated circuit and engineered neodymium drivers, the Genius SP-i200 portable speaker provides six watts of high-quality sound. This far exceeds what is currently available in one-piece speakers," says Annie Padayachee, Genius product manager at Axiz.
The Genius SP-i200 enables users to hear rich and clear audio sound with maximum bass response and minimal distortion. It also allows music lovers to share their favourite digital music with friends or listen to tunes out loud. The Genius SP-i200 can be powered by an AC adapter or by four AAA batteries; while an LED warning light notifies users that the battery is running low. Available in black, this portable speaker is supplied with a travel bag, has an adjustable stand for comfortable listening and an earphone jack for private listening. The Genius SP-i200 is also suitable for notebooks.
"Slim in design, the Genius SP-i200U features a two-watt power output with a digital amplifier to enhance bass. It connects directly to the USB port of a notebook and is supplied with a portable stand," says Padayachee.
Two specially designed, full-range neodymium micro drivers inside the speakers` aluminium cones deliver pure, digital sound. It has easy plug-and-play installation for users to listen to songs, view movies or create private multimedia presentations. In addition, no power supply is required since it is equipped with a USB-powered connector. The Genius SP-i200U is also easy to transport because its integrated cord-wrap cable fits into the body of the device and includes a pouch for travelling.
