Splendid video enhancing technology, GameFace Messenger, GameLiveShow and GameReplay are a few of the innovative gaming experiences to be found only on ASUS`s new En7800 GTX graphics card recently launched by leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz.
Another exclusive feature of the ASUS EN7800 GTX graphics card is the incorporation of Nvidia`s latest high-end graphics processing unit (GPU) with its high-speed DDR3 video memory, the GeForce 7800 GTX.
"The EN7800 GTX graphics card offers exclusive innovation only enjoyed with the ASUS gaming bundle, enhancing video enjoyment on personal computers," says Kobus de Beer, ASUS product manager, Axiz.
"The incorporation of Nvidia`s graphics engine and the GeForce 7800 GTX provides the EN7800 GTX with twice the shading power of previous generation products. In addition, the GeForce 7800 GTX`s built-in video processor enables unprecedented video clarity, smooth video and precise image scaling for all video content."
Built into the drivers of the En7800 GTX is Splendid video enhancing technology that detects the activation and usage of video applications, automatically optimises image quality and enhances depth and colour intensity in real-time.
With a user-friendly interface, the GameFace messenger invites multiple players online to a gameference (game conference) by simply registering and logging on. Expert gamers can show off their strategies and five-hit combinations with the GameLiveShow feature while the ASUS GameReplay allows popular LAN party team gamers to record all gaming action into MPEG4 video files. These recorded moves and tactics allow teams to improve their performance for the next tournament and can be posted on blogs or used as screen savers.
"The En7800 GTX also offers 470MHz GPU clock, 1.2GHz of DDR3 video memories and an effective cooling fansink.
"The EN7800 GTX also provides versatile connectivity options such as dual VGA, dual DVI, S-video out, composite video out, HDTV video out, S-video in and composite video in," indicates De Beer. The EN7800 GTX is highly compatible with software bundles that include Snow Blind, Xpand Rally, Joint Operations, ASUS DVD, Media and Show and Power Director 3. The EN7800 GTX also comes equipped with a leather CD case.
The EN7800 GTX graphics card will be available in mid-July at the suggested retail price of R6 795. For more information, please contact Axiz on (011) 237 7000 or visit www.axiz.com
