Axiz has been named by Veeam as 'Distributor of the Year 2018' in Africa.
Axiz is a value added distributor (VAR) that focuses on solutions ranging from edge client devices and core data centre hardware and software, to cloud solutions and services. Based in Switzerland, Veeam develops backup, disaster recovery and intelligent data management software for virtual, physical and multi-cloud infrastructures.
The annual regional Veeam Partner Awards, which were held recently in Sandton, Jo-hannesburg, recognise channel partners who have performed well in delivering Veeam solutions in the African region, as well as those who have provided first-class support and expertise.
According to Axiz, its long-standing partnership with Veeam, has helped it develop the expertise necessary to grow Veeam's brand across the continent.
"The award is a tribute to our philosophy of delivering good service and support, backed up by Veeam's solutions that have helped customers ensure availability for virtual, phys-ical, and cloud-based workloads in their hybrid cloud environments," says Axiz.
