AXiZ set to make waves at Cape Computer Faire with enterprise computing equipment

Leading component distributor AXiZ will be creating a stir at this year`s Cape Computer Faire, held at the Culemborg Centre from 16 - 18 September, by demonstrating high-end Intel enterprise equipment for the first time in the region.

Regional manager of AXiZ Western Cape, Mike Saxby, says the recent interest in the enterprise equipment supplied by Intel has prompted the company to show as much of the range as possible to interested buyers at the Faire. "Although everyone knows about Intel in the world of processors and motherboards, not many people are aware of the high-end kit that the company is now excelling at," he says. "We intend to show the Western Cape this equipment, and increase awareness of the excellent price-performance of these products."

AXiZ will be demonstrating Intel`s Express range of enterprise networking equipment, including hubs, routers, switches, and Gigabyte technology. In addition, Intel mid-to high-end servers such as the SC450NX and C440GX platforms will be demonstrated.

"We will run ad-hoc presentations throughout the day on request from interested parties, showing technologies such as Intel Device View and Intel Server Control," adds Saxby. "Show visitors are welcome to attend our stand and ask for demonstrations of whichever product they are interested in."

Other products that will be on display include Intel processors and motherboards, and Kingston memory products. AXiZ is one of South Africa`s official Intel distributors, and the only official Kingston distributor in Southern Africa.

"This is the first time that we will be present at the show, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to show off our top-quality products and services," says Saxby. "Our highly-trained staff will be available at all time to answer questions and offer advice."

AXiZ can be found at stands B12 and B14.
