AXS-One rolls out new business strategy at 8th annual international user`s conference, November 5-8, 2000 in Tampa, Florida

AXS-One Inc., a leading global provider of e-business solutions, declared its 8th annual international user`s conference a success. Called Sharing Solutions 2000, it was held in Tampa, Florida, November 5-8, 2000.

A highlight of this year`s conference, with its theme of transformation, was the change of the company`s name from Computron to AXS-One, and featured a Technology Showcase demonstrating AXS-One`s e-business enablers -- the e-Cellerator family of solutions including, TransAXS, AXSPoint, and Professional Services .

AXS-One users agreed that a main benefit derived from attending these conferences over the years has been the unique opportunity to with fellow users. Some of the most popular sessions this year included presentations by AXS-One customers, including Telapex, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Stephens Inc., Bank of Oklahoma, Deutsche Bank, United Airlines and Roadway Express, discussing their organisations` successful implementation of AXS-One solutions.

During the year 2000, on average, one major corporation per week has licensed AXS-One`s e-Cellerator solutions to e- cellerate their businesses. The week of the conference was no exception as a leading Polish Bank invested in AXSPoint Exchange.

Another important component of the Sharing Solutions 2000 agenda was a series of presentations from compelling guest speakers - Thomas J. Winninger and Dr. James Canton discussing trends, strategies and the future of e-commerce - and AXS-One Vice President of Technology, John Bryne discussing, AXS-One`s Internet Product Strategy.

This year, AXS-One launched a new 2-day mini-conference program available to senior-level attendees, focused directly on strategic e-business related topics and trends. Of special interest was an Executive Panel, which included CIO`s, and Sr. V.P.`s from corporation such as La Quinta Inns; AIG AI Tech Enterprises; and Brimbank City Council, (Australia). The discussion encompassed implemented solutions in the areas of e- Procurement, ASP markets and trading communities.
