Johannesburg, 30 Apr 2002

B2BAfrica today formally announced that it had become the Alliance Partner in Sub-Saharan Africa for Ariba.

This agreement allows B2BAfrica to sell Ariba software, offer training and associated services and undertake implementation assignments that involve the use of the Ariba software.

"We are delighted to have been chosen by Ariba as their Southern African partner," commented Nobusi Shikwane, CEO of B2BAfrica. "Having a customer base that already includes Standard Bank and Transnet is an added bonus, and bodes well for the future of the product on this continent."

A set of LIVE spend management forums of the Ariba software in SA will take place next month.
