Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor Baan SA has appointed Xonitek Systems to be the reseller of the Baan solution in the Western Cape province. This is according to an announcement by Eveline Schultz, channel manager of Baan SA.
The partnership with Xonitek SA, a management and technologies consulting company, is expected to strongly position Baan SA in the Western Cape ERP market and add strategic value to both organisations. The increasing popularity of ERP, which has seen Baan registering record annual sales over the past few years, has compelled the ERP vendor to search for an official reseller in the region. Some of the most notable Baan customers with headquarters in the Western Cape include Ceres Fruit Juices and Trencor.

The experience of Xonitek`s sister corporation, CA Systems, which has been in the South African IT market for over eighteen years, also lends credible experience which will be of benefit to Baan.
