Mobile network operators can now protect data stored on customers` mobile devices against loss.
Attix5 and SmartTrust are showcasing a mobile backup solution at the 3GSM World Congress, which automatically backs up mobile phone data over the network. Backup Professional Mobile Edition (ME) is the world`s first solution to protect all data on the phone, including phone memory, SIM data, and expansion cards.
The solution is aimed at mobile network operators and provides a platform for them to offer a comprehensive data backup service to their customers. In the event of a mobile device being lost or stolen, the owner would simply connect to their secure remote backup account and their data would be automatically recovered to the new/replacement device.
