Bahrain gets new contact centre company

An agreement was signed between the e-government authority of Bahrain and contact centre solutions provider, Merchants, to establish a new company, Silah Gulf, reports Gulf Daily News.

The company will provide a full range of integrated contact centre solutions on a local and regional level.

The partnership will also pave way towards establishing the National Contact Centre, the fourth and final integrated government e-service delivery channel.

CTE to promote NewVoiceMedia solution

NewVoiceMedia has signed an agreement with China Telecom Europe (CTE) to promote the NewVoiceMedia hosted contact centre solution, ContactWorld, across Europe, states Sourcewire.

CTE is the European, Middle Eastern and African operation of China Telecom, the world's largest fixed-line operator.

NewVoiceMedia's ContactWorld solution uses the increasingly popular software-as-a-service business model, allowing CTE to help companies set up, or expand their European contact centres faster and more cost-effectively than traditional hardware-based approaches.

IT Solutions Now releases CRM 4.0

IT Solutions Now, a Microsoft Exchange organisation, has released a (CRM) 4.0 hosting service, featuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM Hosting, offering, according to TMCnet.

The solution, according to company officials, “creates and maintains a clear view of customers from first contact through post-sales.”

CRM hosting allows clients to assign, schedule and track marketing campaign activities, as well as easily measure campaign performance, creating a more efficient way to market both new and existing products and services, according to company officials.
