This combined offering provides SharePoint customers who also use Microsoft Project 2007 Standard or Professional an intuitive and affordable project management solution for project managers, SharePoint users and project stakeholders.
ProjectManager.com offers solution
For project managers wanting to create project plans online, ProjectManager.com allows them and their teams to log in online and jointly plan projects in a single workspace, reports Market Watch.
Team members can make changes to a single project plan online, and view each other's changes as they are made.
"No other solution allows an entire team of people spread across the planet, to collaborate on a single project plan, online. And it's fast and very intuitive. Users can create a task list and be jointly collaborating on projects in minutes," says Craig Nicholson, technical director.
Ciklum releases CTI
Ciklum, an IT outsourcing company that specialises in near-shore software development in Ukraine, has released Ciklum Team Infrastructure (CTI), a software life cycle and project management solution that supports the remote collaboration and practical synchronisation between onshore and offshore project participants, says the IB Times.
According to the company, CTI's key advantage is enabling independent software vendors to decrease time to market and achieve faster revenue growth by focusing on core activities.
"With CTI, companies have a professional software environment for both their home organisation and offshore team. Not only does this allow them to work together more effectively, but it also frees up valuable time for the onshore and offshore organisation to focus on customers and the key development activities, which can enhance the entire business," says Torben Majgaard, CEO of Ciklum.
