Batelco protects customers

Batelco, a Bahrain telecommunications company, has implemented an EMC information infrastructure to protect its critical information and enhance the performance of its core business and customer service applications, PCmag reports.

Says Batelco GM networks and IT, Ebrahim Zainal: “We cannot afford an interruption to our services, and EMC's information infrastructure technology provides confidence that our IT and billing systems and our customers' confidential information will remain secure in the event of an unplanned downtime, and will scale to meet our company's future growth plans.”

Batelco provides its residential and commercial customers with a full spectrum of telecommunications solutions, including mobile services, international roaming, WiFi and high-speed Internet connections and satellite services.

Toolkit SaaS released

eBRP Solutions, the provider of BCM planning and management solutions, has released Toolkit SaaS (software as a service), reports Continuity Central.

Toolkit SaaS is a comprehensive package of eBRP's award-winning Toolkit BCM plan development utility, with and complete technical and products support available on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no long-term contract.

“We introduced Toolkit SaaS to meet a need in the marketplace for solutions that accomplish both cost and business continuity management goals,” says Jim Mitchell, eBRP Solution's director of professional services.
