Bateleur Software Solutions has announced availability of V2.0 of Search Software America`s (SSA) Identity Systems (IDS), an out-of-the-box identity search server for intelligent indexing and searching of identity data stored in relational databases.
"The IDS solution is an industry-first, industrial-strength, world-class solution which addresses growing market demand for faster, more compatible, web-enabled products that minimise customer development and programming requirements while simultaneously reducing time to market," says Laura Selmer-Olsen, SSA product manager of Bateleur Software Solutions.
IDS allows a DB2, Oracle or SQL Server user to easily add high-quality, scalable, real-time and batch searching and matching of names, addresses and other identity data without database changes and with minimal programming.
According to Selmer-Olsen, IDS supports searching and matching for systems about customers, prospects, individuals, contacts, organisations, divisions, addresses, households and more. "It can be used by any type of system that needs to find matches or duplicates, or prove a match does not exist," she says.
"In addition, IDS overcomes the unavoidable error and variation in identity data. It does not require the data to be cleaned or formatted, and supports all countries and character sets."
New features in V2.0 of IDS include support for ODBC source data as input as well as for batch file synchronisation and trigger-based real-time database synchronisation. The product also offers multithreaded, restartable table loading and indexing. IDS`s built-in rule-based data transformation has been extended to allow data transformation using custom code.
