Bateleur Software announced today that Mobius Management Systems has been positioned by industry analyst Gartner, Inc in the leaders quadrant of the 2005 Magic Quadrant for the integrated document archive and retrieval systems (IDARS) market.
According to Gartner, leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.
"While many well-known vendors offer enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, some do not adequately address IDARS requirements and may be rated as niche players in this area," claims Joe Rios, Content Management Consultant at Bateleur Software. "In the total content management arena, document archival and retrieval remains one of the key business drivers for ECM adoption, being the discipline with possibly the greatest business payback. Mobius has historically offered highly scalable IDARS solutions that have achieved industry recognition for their scope of functionality and breadth of supported formats.
Over the last several years, new capabilities have been added for Web content management, workflow, content integration and, in 2004, robust e-mail and records management solutions.
The Gartner report recognises these capabilities in the report, stating that Mobius provides "full enterprise content management capabilities" along with content integration.
