The user group for clients of Bateleur Financial Solutions, formerly known as Walker Interactions, has changed its name and broadened its reach.
"Due to a number of changes in ownership of the Walker product range, the user community decided to adopt a new name and logo which were not aligned directly with the product," says Linda Joyce, client liaison for Bateleur Financial Solutions
Called Sebenzisa Africa (Users of Africa), the user group now incorporates users from beyond SA`s borders, including Zimbabwe and Kenya. The 2003 annual conference, held at Kievitskroon Conference Centre north of Johannesburg, included delegates from Kenya Airways.
The new logo, featuring three rockets, is based on Mark Shuttleworth`s first African in Space logo and is used with his permission.
