BBC, Google featured at CME expo
The BBC and Google are joining leading companies to discuss information management in London this month, reports Vnunet, at this year`s Content Management Europe (CME) event from 29 November to 1 December at the Grand Hall, Olympia.
The show features specialist conferences and exhibitions including enterprise document and records management (EDRM) and enterprise search solutions, each with their own programme of free seminars and showcase of leading suppliers. EDRM also offers visitors the chance to attend a free two-day seminar programme with sessions from the Home Office, Woking Borough Council, Canon and Elsevier, as well as a case study session looking at implementing content management at the Open University.

OmniBus automates Discovery
OmniBus Systems` Colossus network-based automation and content management solution has been integrated into Ascent Media Network Services` (AMNS) origination facilities in London and Singapore as well as the Discovery Television and Technology Center in Vancouver, reports Broadcastbuyer.
These three facilities provide playout for Discovery Communications, with over 90 networks of distinctive programming, representing 25 network entertainment brands. Discovery plans to make an enterprise-wide transition to file-based platforms, to give the company greater flexibility in accessing and leveraging the company`s media assets.
Hummingbird introduces Enterprise 2005
