BBM for BlackBerry 10 leaks online

N4BB has obtained some images showing what RIM's BBM app will look like on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system.

According to Engadget, as long as N4BB's details prove legitimate, the centrepiece of the app will be its theming: owners can customise the chat bubbles and backdrops to fit their finicky ways.

The theming should also be integral to keeping power consumption to a minimum: the darker the colours, the less energy a BBM conversation demands from a future BlackBerry's big OLED screen.

The new BBM and the rest of BlackBerry 10 are not expected to be available until later this year, The Verge writes.

When it does launch, the first device will be all-touch.
