Banking group Absa on Friday reported that Ivan Epstein of Softline, an accounting software company, was awarded the country`s Best Entrepreneur for 1999 at a gala banquet in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Absa commercial market segment manager Eugene Human said the purpose of the competition, sponsored by Absa, Ernst & Young and Business Times was to honour those individuals "whose ingenuity, hard work and innovation have created successful and growing business ventures".
