JSE-listed Beget Holdings is to spend R12.63 million to buy the 34% of Beget Interactive it does not own - about R300 000 more than originally announced.
Beget has not disclosed the reason for the adjustment from the originally agreed R12.63 million price tag.
The group will still issue 36 million Beget shares at 20c each as partial payment for the shareholding, but the cash element of the deal has increased from R5.13 million to R5.425 million.
The acquisition includes related intellectual property rights owned by the seller, Excellular Systems, and an Excellular director.
Beget Interactive, a value-added reseller and distributor of business information solutions, is the operating company of Beget.
