Eighteen products by BenQ's two designer teams, BenQ Lifestyle Design Centre and Qisda Creative Design Centre, were awarded the prestigious iF Design Award 2010.

This latest performance brings the accumulated number of awards gained by the group in the competition to the highest in Taiwan.

According to Manfred Wang, chief design officer of both centres, the iF Design Award judges entries based on aesthetic idea, practicability, innovation, feasibility, and manifestation of brand value.

BenQ Lifestyle Design Centre's winning products span the fields of consumer electronics, IT, and mobile devices, including two LED backlight display models.

Qisda Creative Design Centre has 10 award-winning products, including a smartbook, all-in-one PC, 12-inch touch-screen, photo scanner, photo frame, digital device, smartphone, two e-reader models, and a high-brightness projector for teaching and commercial usage.

The 18 products will be awarded during the CeBIT exhibition in Hannover, Germany on 2 March 2010.
