Digital lifestyle device specialist, BenQ has appointed FROG Audio Visual (AV) as its local projector distributor, aiming at both the retail and corporate markets.
According to Manish Bakshi, general manager Middle East and Africa at BenQ, the organisation set up a partnership with FROG AV because of the company`s national footprint, with branches in Pretoria, Cape Town and an established dealer network in other regions.
"FROG AV is also highly experienced within the projector market and has gained substantial market share over the past four years," says Bakshi. "They can deliver a wide range of services within the audio visual field, including distribution, direct sales to the corporate market, installations, services, repairs and consultations, and will assist in building the BenQ brand name within SA.
"FROG AV is also leading the way Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology in SA, a technology pioneered by BenQ," he adds.
Martin Joubert, sales director of FROG AV, believes the local projector sector has changed over the past few years, with approximately 35% of sales now attributed to the retail market. "The BenQ projector range is ideal for the retail sector, with quality products being offered for a very reasonable price."
FROG AV has it own service centre, based at the company`s Pretoria head office, with factory trained engineers and can offer a three-day turnaround time for repairs when spares are available.
