Bing comes to iPhone

Microsoft is targeting the iPhone as another avenue for boosting usage of its Bing search engine, reports PC World.

The software giant released a software developer kit designed to make it easier for iPhone developers to build access to Bing into their applications. Using the SDK, a developer can build an iPhone application that searches Bing for Web information, images, videos, news and phonebook results.

Developers can only query Bing from applications built on Cocoa or Cocoa Touch, APIs for building applications on the iPhone.

Flowfinity offers BlackBerry app

Flowfinity Wireless, a provider and enabler of adaptable smartphone business applications, rolled out mobile retail performance management applications for BlackBerry smartphones, enabling BlackBerry users conduct retail audits, states TelecomTiger.

Flowfinity Retail Performance Management intended for BlackBerry smartphones allows consumer goods manufacturers to acquire retail performance intelligence quickly and ensures results from retail audits to reach management reports in a matter of minutes, said the company.

This accelerated information flow allows fast moving consumer goods companies to be highly responsive to the retail market, giving them a competitive edge over other competitors, Flowfinity added.

Zoho integrates with Google Apps

Zoho has introduced sign-in integration with Google Apps, letting users login to Zoho using their Google Apps credentials, says The Washington Post.

When Zoho users try to login to Zoho, they'll be given a 'Google Apps' option in the sign-in box. Users can input their Google Apps domain name, and will be redirected to Google to sign in using their Google Apps credentials.

They will be given the option of authorising 'accounts.zoho.com' and will then be logged in to Zoho directly.
