Bizagi BPM gets Oz support

IMSX, a specialist in business process automation, has joined Bizagi's Partner Programme and will market and support Bizagi in Australia, states Newsmaker.

Bizagi is a business process management (BPM) and workflow automation provider. This strategic alliance allows both companies to benefit from collaborating in the areas of marketing, product knowledge and implementation skills around Bizagi's robust BPM system.

IMSX adds the essential local support component by providing advisory, consulting, training, system integration and skills.

Open Text to acquire MetaStorm

Content management vendor Open Text says it intends to acquire BPM software supplier MetaStorm for $183 million, says Information Age.

MetaStorm's document-centric workflow technology makes it a logical acquisition for Open Text, and both companies target document-heavy industries such as the legal sector.

Open Text CEO John Shackleton says the acquisition would help boost its ability to support mobile content management. “We see workflow being the glue that will allow people using their iPads or smarpthones to be able to access corporate data on the road,” he says.

Questetra upgrades cloud workflow

Corporate software developer, Questetra has officially released a version of its cloud-enabled workflow service, Questetra BPM Suite SaaS Edition (version 7.3), reports SYS-CON.

The Questetra BPM Suite Software-as-a-Service Edition is an online workflow service that offers advanced operability for BPM activities. The functions, which include visualisation of performance data on each step and easy diagram editing, enable worker-driven workflow improvement.

In recent terms, it can be called a BPM Suite and was selected as a 'Cool Vendor in BPM' in 2010 by Gartner's leading industry analysts.
