Konica Minolta South Africa, a Bidvest Group company, announces the launch of the bizhub C25 A4 colour multifunction printer (MFP). The C25, designed with true optimisation in mind, offers significant space-saving through its compact size, exceptional printing performance and image quality, document digitisation, and green innovation.
“The C25 is a triumph in optimisation. Efficiency is significantly improved, while total cost of ownership has been reduced,” says Andrew Griffith, product manager at Konica Minolta South Africa. “When compared to the C20, the C25 exhibits a 44% reduction in size, allowing for installation in tight spaces. Additionally, we have introduced Konica Minolta's Emperon print technology - also used in A3 devices - to ensure unbeatable image reproduction and print performance, thus ensuring that quality is not sacrificed when building a truly compact MFP.”
The bizhub C25 comes equipped as standard with automatic duplex printing, which reduces paper consumption, and an environmentally-sensitive ozone-free charge roller. Additionally, in comparison to the C20, the bizhub C25 is produced with a 35% reduction in the number of parts, significantly reducing waste generation and CO2 emissions during manufacture.
“Importantly, design and construction of the bizhub C25 was undertaken with a clear mandate to be environmentally friendly,” says Griffith. “We have separated the toner cartridges and drum, to ensure longer-life consumables. We've also opted for Simitri HD toner with biomass - print technology that uses plant-based resources. The result is a reduced environmental burden, and lower CO2 emissions during toner production.”
“Business efficiency is a core focus of the bizhub C25,” says Griffith. “The C25 integrates with A3 MFPs, accelerating the optimal placement of input and output devices. To accelerate the digitisation of documents, we've included scan-to-e-mail, and scan-to-FTP functionality, boosting knowledge sharing and reducing paper consumption.”
The bizhub C25 houses USB ports on the control panel, which allows for direct saving of scanned documents, and for printing files directly from USB memory devices. It is compatible (for both the standard tray and the multiple bypass tray) with paper up to 210g/m2.
