Black owned Abnoba acquires stake in Galdon Data

Acquires services arm complementing strategy focusing on the Digital Process Automation (DPA) market.

Local black empowered group, Abnoba, has confirmed that it has successfully acquired a stake in Galdon Data. The move solidifies Abnoba`s objective to provide government and enterprises with accessible DPA solutions from presales right through to deployment, services and support.

Fairoz Jaffer, Abnoba`s CEO says, "Although Abnoba is a 100% black owned and engendered, the acquisition is not based on colour, rather on value and the innate ability to now offer corporates and government a succinct solution in DPA space." The fact that Galdon Data is now black empowered is coincidental.

Garry Ackerman, Galdon Data`s managing director, confirms that the acquisition is a win-win situation for both companies and the market. "Abnoba will focus on the consultative sell, specifying DPA solutions across enterprises with the assurance that it now has the service, support and deployment capacity behind it. What`s more, our existing business partners and clients can look forward to an enhanced competency and skill set."

Both Jaffer and Ackerman believe that demand for DPA solutions is growing exponentially. Previously a sideline focus of many ICT companies in the mid 90`s, DPA has become paramount in today`s competitive economy, justifying the requirement for a company`s services the core focus of which is the provision and deployment of DPA solutions.

Automation of data and document capture and Business Information Delivery offers a rapid return on investment that creates a strategic competitive advantage. A growing list of leading companies has already identified the need to have their forms processing and document capture automated. Collecting, validating and storing information is a monumental task for organisations that don`t have the proper tools required to succeed. Abnoba and Galdon can enable enterprises and government agencies to quickly extract, capture, verify, process and index large quantities of information using their array of tried and tested solutions.

Jaffer concludes, "In today`s accelerated economy success lies in `out-servicing` your competitors, offering unparalleled levels of customer satisfaction and reducing operational costs. We offer our clients the differential through DPA, which complements customer retention and acquisition strategies. We offer customers a measurable operational cost savings and significant productivity improvements."
