BlackBerry has its best free personal and business applications, in time for the festive season.

The BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 application allows users to connect with friends anywhere, anytime. The app can be used for chat as well as sharing pictures and videos instantly, explains the company.

Aimed at discouraging texting while driving the DriveSafe.ly application reads text messages and emails out loud, allowing drivers to stay connected while driving, says BlackBerry.

Blackberry's Labyrinth LITE app is a classic wooden labyrinth game, explains the company. Users have to control a steel ball to find a way to the finish hole.
