Aspect Software has appointed former Escalate Retail CEO Stewart Bloom as CEO, effective immediately. Bloom is succeeding Jim Foy who will remain executive chairman of Aspect's board of directors.
With 28 years' experience, Bloom has a reputation of working with companies that focus on the meeting of information and technology with a spotlight on reinventing the customer experience.
“Aspect is an asset-rich organisation at a time when enterprise businesses are rethinking how they compete through differentiated customer experiences,” says Bloom.
Aspect Software provides technology and software for call centres, while building customer-company relationships through a blend of customer contact software and Microsoft platform solutions.
Before working at Escalate, Bloom was CEO for GERS Retail Systems, VP at Technology Services for Capgemini for the Americas and SVP for strategy consultancy at Mainspring.
This was prior to its IPO and subsequent acquisition by IBM. He was also a partner with Ernst & Young Management Consulting and a leader of its Centre for Technology Enablement, following with Ernst & Young's acquisition of DSSI.
“This is a pivotal time for the company to capitalise on its technologies, strategic investments and industry relationships in order to successfully prepare and position ourselves for sustained market growth and investor returns in the years ahead.”
