Bloor names Progress Apama as market leader

Bloor Research, one of the world's most respected market analysts, has published an independent report that positions Progress Software's Apama as a market leader, and one of the products that must be on a potential buyer's shortlist.

Bloor notes: "If you need real-time then you need event processing; if you need event processing then Progress must be on your shortlist."

The report says of Progress's market leadership: "We do not expect that to change in the foreseeable future."

Progress Apama is the first complex event processing system that allows users to monitor, detect and act on rapidly moving streams of events - all within milliseconds.
