Ellerine, Sidney Ellerine's son, joins the board with effect from yesterday. Sidney Ellerine, who was born in 1936, passed away in July this year. He had been a non-executive director at the company since 2001.
Kevin Ellerine has 18 years' working experience within the Ellerine Bros group of companies. Ellerine Bros is an investment house, investing in listed equities, property and private equity.
He is an executive director of Ellerine Bros and all its subsidiary companies, and also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of other private and public companies.
Blue Label says it welcomes “Kevin to the board and looks forward to a long and valued working relationship with him”.
This week, the company said Herbert Theledi had tendered his resignation from the board of directors, with effect from 30 December.
