BluePoint appointed approved partner

Cape Town, 06 Jul 2007

BluePoint Business Services, systems, service and application management specialist, has been appointed as an approved partner for the NetSupport range of desktop management products.

BluePoint is actively marketing the NetSupport product line in Sub-Saharan Africa and is recruiting value-added resellers in key markets.

The NetSupport product line includes:

* NetSupport Manager remote control;
* NetSupport DNA software inventory, licence management, software distribution and Web access control;
* NetSupport protect, desktop lock down software; and
* NetSupport school, virtual classroom and collaboration software.

"NetSupport's market-leading remote control tool (NetSupport Manager) has proven to be the perfect tool for South African IT staff who very often struggle to manage machines in remote locations over limited bandwidth. NetSupport's encryption option appeals to our larger multi-national customers who are obliged to provide secure communications between sites, often across continents," says Nick Kay of BluePoint.

"NetSupport's DNA product brings enterprise level management technology to the mid-sized business where licence and asset management is beginning to become a significant business problem. We are also experiencing tremendous success with the new NetSupport Protect product which locks down users' desktop machines, preventing unauthorised changes to PC configurations thus drastically reducing down time and support costs," continued Kay.

"We are very pleased to have Bluepoint join the NetSupport team of approved partners representing our products in South Africa. NetSupport attaches great importance to providing our customers, both old and new, with a knowledgeable, professional and local point of contact. Our dealings with Bluepoint to date have shown they share the same business philosophy as NetSupport, and we are looking forward to working with them to help ensure businesses are aware of the significant cost savings and improved customer service available through using our solutions," said Andy Naughton, International Channel Manager for NetSupport.
