Borland Software Corporation, the global leader for platform independent solutions for Software Delivery Optimization, today announced 2004 as a banner year for its products, with Borland solutions receiving numerous industry accolades and awards from around the globe. Industry recognition of Borland`s innovative solutions provides the company with significant momentum leading into 2005 and underscores Borland`s ongoing focus on technical excellence and customer value.
It also highlights the solid foundation upon which Borland will deliver its Software Delivery Optimization strategy, transforming software development from an unpredictable art form into a more manageable and repeatable business process. Unveiled in September at the Borland Conference 2004, Software Delivery Optimization builds on the technical efficiencies of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and incorporates the business processes and management capabilities companies need to align business and IT. The first iteration of Borland`s cohesive Software Delivery Optimization platform, codenamed "Themis," will incorporate capabilities from Borland`s award-winning ALM solutions.
"We set our standards high in order to deliver our customers with the quality software solutions and services they need to be as creative and productive as possible." said Boz Elloy, senior vice president of software products at Borland. "These awards demonstrate our drive to meet and exceed these standards, but mostly they are a tribute to our customers. It is their loyalty, support and feedback that helps us innovate year after year and win awards such as these."
Throughout 2004, Borland was recognized for technical innovation, experience and product strategy by various publications and organizations. Product recognition spanned categories across the application lifecycle, from individual and team development through modeling and testing. Awards also stretched across platforms and languages, underscoring Borland`s commitment to customer choice.
