Oracle South Africa has extended FastForward Partner status to BPLC.
Oracle`s FastForward brings all of the Oracle competences - core technologies, applications, implementation services, customer support, and education - together into one integrated offering designed to eliminate the complexity, and much of the time and cost, of large-scale implementations, without sacrificing appropriate functionality.
BPLC, whose relationship with Oracle goes back to 1998, focuses on large-scale enterprise implementation based on a best practice framework. The company`s business has developed around a skills competence of chartered accountants and industrial engineers.
According to BPLC managing director Barry Stocks, Oracle products are used exclusively in fulfilling business implementations for BPLC customers. "Oracle underpins our commitment to deliver best practice business solutions, provide a lower total cost of ownership and an achievable return on investment for customers."
Stocks says: "Although the FastForward solution is aimed at small and medium businesses, we believe that a FastForward implementation - delivered at a fixed price, fixed-scope implementation and within a few months - can become the starting point for larger organisations to migrate their business onto the Oracle platform."
Jacqui Gogele, channel sales manager at Oracle SA, says FastForward includes the Oracle application modules most critical to business operations.
"BPLC`s participation in the programme brings a high level of implementation and business integration competence to the FastForward solution," she says.
FastForward was launched by Oracle this year and has already seen financial, CRM, supply chain, manufacturing and human resource modules installed at more than 3 000 sites through Europe, Middle East and Africa.
