Brian Cronje appointed divisional director of EOH Axia Microsoft Dynamics

Johannesburg, 16 Feb 2007

Brian Cronje will head up the Microsoft Dynamics business, which includes ERP (Microsoft Dynamics - AX formally Axapta) and CRM (Microsoft CRM) product offerings.

"EOH has a tremendous record of accomplishment. The market is desperate for a strongly reputed service provider to deliver Microsoft solutions in the enterprise space. I have no doubt that Axia will take the lead in this area and I am excited to be associated with the Microsoft/EOH partnership." says Cronje.

Cronje has worked in the IT industry for 16 years, resulting in a blended background of accounting, consulting and management. Previous employers include: Sun International, Deloitte & Touche Active Era, Datacentrix and Xpedia.

"Microsoft's people-ready business proposition is based on the understanding that people drive businesses. It concretely means providing people with the software enabling them to be successful. Microsoft does this extremely well by providing software that is innovative, familiar, easy to use, widely known and supported. At EOH our philosophy is centred on the view that Systems make it possible, People make it happen. Our philosophies are closely aligned," adds Cronje.

Adding Microsoft Dynamics in the EOH portfolio responds to the logic of augmenting further EOH's "design, build, operate" capability across technologies.

Microsoft Dynamics are solutions specially designed for the upper mid-market/enterprise customers across numerous verticals, ie manufacturing, financial services, distribution and education.

Cronje's short- and medium-term plan to develop the Axia Microsoft Dynamics business includes investing in people, and using proven methodologies to deliver solutions that are appropriate and easy to use.

"The market already realises how committed Microsoft is about their Dynamics suite. Microsoft will be a serious contender in the upper mid-market/enterprise space. And we plan to be there with them," declares Cronje.
