Brilliant Business Systems, a Softline company, today announced that SDD is to become an official distributor of Brilliant Accounting software products in South Africa. The arrangement, which will be taking effect immediately will be announced officially to SDD dealers at an upcoming dealers evening on the 24 July.
Bridget du Toit, Channel Manager at Brilliant Business Systems explains that SDD was the obvious choice for Brilliant when it came to selecting a distributor to expand their distribution base. "SDD is the country's leading IT distribution company with a strong focus on the important SME (small to medium enterprise) market. They have also had great success with the distribution of QuickBooks, an international accounting solution marketed in South Africa by Brilliant Business Systems."
Werner Obermeyer, Software Product Manager at SDD, adds that it was a logical step for SDD to elect to distribute the Brilliant products as this complements the company's existing software range. "We are distributors for some of the top software companies in the world including Microsoft, Symantec, Lotus/IBM and Borland and our customers appreciate the convenient access to a broad range of products under one roof."
Obermeyer adds that SDD will be concentrating on subscriptions and sales of the Brilliant Accounting and related solutions while Brilliant Business Systems will continue to handle technical support on the products.
