BSG proudly announces that it has taken home a coveted 'Homegrown' award for the second consecutive year at the Proudly South African Awards.
This year, BSG secured the title of 'Service of the Year'. BSG has been a finalist in the PSA Homegrown Awards for the past three years in the 'Innovator of the Year', 'Service of the Year' and 'Company of the Year' categories in the SMME group.
Last year BSG won the title of 'Innovator of the Year' for its entry based on the SMART system. SMART was designed based on national guidelines for administering the roll-out of antiretroviral treatment in South Africa.
This year, BSG entered in two categories, namely 'Innovator of the Year' and 'Service of the Year', but due to the growth it has experienced, did so in the Corporate group for medium to large enterprises. Based on its entry into these two categories, BSG received automatic entry into the 'Company of the Year' category.
BSG's entry for 'Service of the Year' category detailed its excellent quality control procedures which have enabled it to deliver business consulting and software development at extremely high standards.
The entry delved into the types of systems and protocols BSG adheres to and how this has helped it to develop into an organisation known for its impeccable quality of delivery. This win is testament to that. The entry also explains BSG's talent management policies and how these have shaped the ethos and work ethic at BSG, ultimately shaping the type of delivery BSG is reputed for.
Its entry for 'Innovator of the Year' was based on BSG's revolutionary talent management system, SID (Staff Information Database). SID has been designed and developed by BSG and is currently used by the company. It incorporates processes and technology to create exciting and challenging growth opportunities for its greatest assets, its people and its customers.
BSG, as a company which consistently works hard to ensure it contributes to the development of South Africa, is extremely delighted and honoured to have received this tremendous accolade.
