SharePoint as a platform and the related industry has evolved quickly over the last few years. In years gone by, many companies carried out SharePoint projects using what can only be described as a trial and error methodology, but there has been a fundamental shift in this behaviour. In turn, organisations using SharePoint have become far more interested in what solutions have been a success among their peers and why, rather than simply pushing the boundaries for feature's sake.
bSOLVe believes the three primary reasons for this shift to be as follows:

In order to facilitate discussions of this kind in the local industry, bSOLVe has once again committed to being the diamond sponsor at SharePoint Saturday. The event was created for the purpose of sharing lessons from people's experiences with SharePoint, good or bad. SharePoint Saturday is a free community-focused event dedicated to educating and engaging members of the local technical and business community.
