Business Connexion takes top honours in inaugural 2005 Nortel SA channel partner of the year awards

Business Connexion has been awarded winner of the 2005 Nortel SA Gold Solutions Partner of the Year Awards at a celebratory event held in Johannesburg, where Nortel also acknowledged the outstanding business performance and significant revenue contribution of Business Connexion.

The Nortel Gold Solutions Partner Programme, currently in its third year, is the highest level of accreditation achievable for Nortel channel partners. The programme is designed to identify companies that have proven their commitment and expertise in delivering Nortel solutions.

"This award puts in place the basis for close working relationships between Nortel and its solution partners, it supports us in collectively creating solutions that deliver true competitive advantage, service differentiation and revenue-generation and it ensures that together we are even better able to match the business needs of our mutual customers," said Logan Pather, managing director of Nortel South Africa.

Accreditation as a Nortel Gold Solutions partner confirms a partner`s commitment to Nortel products through the development of its sales, pre-sales and post-sales capability. Rigorous criteria must be met for each stage of the certification process and once qualified, partners are then regarded as skilled in their specific solutions area. This provides additional assurance to the end-user customer that any solution will be installed and supported by qualified, specialist engineers and backed by Nortel.
