Business continuity tricks employees
Most employees do not understand business continuity, or whether their firm has such a plan, according to new research, says One Stop Click.
Carried out by BT, the study found three-quarters of staff do not know if their firm has a plan, or what it involves, with almost a quarter thinking losing their mobile phone would not be a disaster.
The research also found that 38% of staff who have lost their mobile device admitted that it was not secured.

Bank gets disaster recovery
Dubai Bank has implemented a business continuity site for its core banking systems in a record time of nine months, states AMEInfo.
The implementation of the site forms an integral part of Dubai Bank's business continuity plan.
As business processes, systems and networks are becoming increasingly complex, the need for a robust disaster recovery site is becoming an ever-more important aspect of the business. Interruption of service or loss of data can have a serious financial impact, both directly and through loss of customer confidence.
