Business Objects, the leading provider of business intelligence software applications is hosting its second annual user conference in South Africa on 24 July. The programme for the one-day conference, hosted at the Kyalami Castle, includes presentations by local and international business intelligence experts, as well as the South African launch of Enterprise 6, Business Objects` flagship enterprise business intelligence software suite.
Other highlights of the conference include presentations by Business Objects customers and partners, discussing the benefits and challenges of implementing business intelligence in businesses across various industries. Conference delegates will also be able to test drive Business Objects Enterprise 6, as well as applications by Bytes Business Solutions, e-com institute and Sybase in the IBM sponsored hot lab.

* Divesh Kassanjee - applications manager from Unilever South Africa will provide an understanding of Unilever`s "Path to Growth" strategy, designed to deliver improved growth and operating margins by 2004.
Business Objects has also invited Nick Mallet, coach of the South African Rugby World Cup Champions as a guest speaker to discuss how he used strategic intelligence to guide his team to victory.
