Business Objects, has announced that it has once again been named the market share leader of the worldwide business intelligence (BI) software market, according to a recent Gartner research report1.
In the Gartner report, "Business Intelligence Software Market Grows 12% in 2004", Business Objects commands more than 20% of the BI software market, based on new licence revenues of $427.2 million in 2004. Overall, the Gartner report shows the BI market continues to produce significant growth, with new licence sales in 2004 increasing 12% to more than $2.1 billion.
