Business process management road show to showcase best practice in SA, Namibia

Leading companies will reveal how they`ve implemented and benefited from business process management at this year`s annual Process Day, to be held in Cape Town, Windhoek and Johannesburg in the first week of November.

The keynote speaker is Prof Dr Dr h.c. mult August-Wilhelm Scheer, director of the Institute for Information Systems at Saarland University and founder of IDS-Scheer, producer of the world-leading ARIS process management tool. Prof Scheer will present his vision of the future possibilities and challenges facing business process management.

The day will also offer opportunities to learn more about business process management from the experts, and to meet representatives of South African companies including De Beers, Woolworths, Nedbank, Eskom, MTN, Tickbox Technologies and Spoornet, who will talk about their experiences of business process management.

Other speakers include IDS-Scheer Senior Vice-President Sven Wilms, who will discuss the latest developments within the ARIS Platform, Simon Carpenter of SAP, and Brett Cunningham of Dataflo, who will present highlights of the SAP implementation at Coca-Cola SABCO.

Process Day will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Cape Town on 2 November, The Mix in Johannesburg on 4 November and the Polytechnic of Namibia in Windhoek on 3 November. The day is hosted by CPI, with sponsorship from SAP and IDS-Scheer.
