Staffware, a business process management (BPM) software company, is tipped to lead the growing BPM market over the next three years, according to a Butler Group report released last month.
The audit reports that BPM technology is being increasingly deployed by businesses to improve the automation and management of their processes. Return on investment (ROI) continues to be critical in the decision-making process, and the Staffware Process Suite has been proven to deliver ROI, measured through productivity and cost improvements, reduction in operational risk and increased customer satisfaction, within six to nine months.
Butler cites Staffware`s comprehensive approach as the key to its success. The Staffware Process Suite provides a complete platform for BPM encompassing process modelling, workflow and systems integration and as such is well suited to the role of an enterprise-wide `independent process layer`. The key findings from the audit highlighted Staffware`s capability to provide high levels of scalability, end-to-end enterprise-level functionality and comprehensive supporting tools.
Says Mark Ehmke, managing director of Staffware, commenting on the report: "The Butler Group report recognises that there is still a proliferation of separate workflow, systems integration and process modelling tools in the market today. At Staffware, we aim to combine process flexibility with enterprise scalability in order to deliver all the tools for best practice business process management. Uniquely among our competitors, we provide a proven, scalable and robust BPM platform that is capable of deployment on an enterprise-wide basis."
The report`s author, Andrew Kellett, senior research analyst at Butler Group, added: "To genuinely support enterprise-wide BPM, a technology platform must be highly scalable, must be able to manage a wide range of complex processes (involving both people and systems), and it must allow the business user to be able to change a process themselves and to implement that changed process very fast. Staffware Process Suite has demonstrated that it can meet all of these requirements."
