Buys Inc and eBusiness Law and Security (eBLS) have signed a strategic joint venture (JV) agreement to share infrastructure and know-how.
In terms of the agreement, Buys Inc will be the preferred legal partner for eBLS clients on domain name and trademarks matters, intellectual property rights, IP due diligences, software legal matters and legal opinions on e-commerce and media law.
eBusiness Law and Security provides its clients with customised workshops detailing the legal and security implications of e-commerce and its consequences in the workplace. eBLS also offers other e-business services that include communication policy drafting and implementation, corporate IT security and privacy policy drafting, e-commerce strategy development and implementation, online legal notices, and network/Internet security consulting.
Buys Inc was founded at the start of 2001 and continues to be the only law firm in SA that specialises exclusively in Internet, media and IP law. The firm has seen tremendous growth that can be attributed to the need for specialised legal expertise in online matters.
