Bytes Document Solutions, a Xerox distributor, has appointed Ivyline Technologies as official business partner within the Rustenburg area and its immediate surroundings.

According to Bytes, this partnership allows Ivyline Technologies to distribute Xerox products and managed print services on behalf of Bytes Document Solutions.

Bytes has an expanding footprint in 26 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, seven branches, over 30 business partners in SA and is serviced by 80 technical centres.

Ivyline Technologies was established in 1998 as a provider of outsourced hardware, and maintenance solutions, with the objective of providing ancillary services to the customers of East Rand Document Solutions - an existing Xerox Business Partner and a sister company.

The company eventually evolved into a provider of office products, and in August 2008, was appointed the authorised Xerox Partner for the Vaal Triangle and North West province. This enabled Ivyline Technologies to expand its offerings and value proposition into Potchefstroom, Benoni, Vereeniging and Secunda.

Ivyline Technologies notes that the partnership with Bytes will enable it to take Xerox solutions to the Rustenburg and greater North West provincial areas.

Bobby Graham, MD of Ivyline Technologies, is positive about the partnership and believes the combination of strong customer relationships and expertise - backed by a strong global brand - will influence significant demand for document services within the region.

Johan Basson, CEO of Bytes Document Solutions, sees this partnership as an important step for the company.

"Bytes Document Solutions is very pleased to have concluded a partner agreement with Ivyline Technologies, a company with a history of sound business practices and high levels of success."
