Altron Group company, Bytes Business Solutions, has appointed SiloFx Enterprise Architecture Solutions, a consulting and software development company focusing on enterprise architecture planning and application integration, as a reseller partner.
The partnership will place emphasis on the design and implementation of business process re-engineering and change/service management solutions through the use of new-generation methodologies, frameworks and toolsets.
According to Bytes` sales and marketing director, Annette Hieber, the move is in line with a strategic partnership drive initiated by Bytes earlier this year. "SiloFx has entrenched relationships with its customers and the skills base necessary to implement solutions that promote the concept of the single holistic enterprise, across people, processes and technologies.
"In terms of our agreement, SiloFx will make use of a number of Bytes` product offerings - including our SeeBeyond enterprise application integration offering - to assist companies to convert strategy into action, from both planning and management perspectives, and optimise returns on the investment," she says.
Craig Martin, managing director of SiloFx explains that his company`s name originates from the "silo effect" that businesses often suffer from when unplanned architectures and solutions are implemented.
"We assist organisations to rise above these siloed and `stove-piped` environments by building solid, future-proof foundations for their business operations," he says.
"Our relationship with Bytes Business Solutions will enhance our ability to deliver architectural services that span the business and technical divide in horizontal and vertical markets."
Martin says that with the support of Bytes, SiloFx is able to address segmented architectures in areas such as customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-commerce and m-commerce.
"We are able to design enterprise business and technology framework solutions, as well as model-driven, service-oriented and information-centric operational and business support systems targeted at these sectors," he adds.
