Bytes Communication Systems celebrates successes in Cape with golf day

Johannesburg, 12 Feb 2008

Bytes Communication Systems' Cape Town office recently thanked its Cape-based customers, as well as the Clovelly Country Club, for their business over the past year, by hosting one of the club's popular monthly mixed tournaments, in January 2008.

The day was a great success, and was rounded out by a celebration and prize giving held in Clovelly's brand new club house.

"The golf day was a wonderful way for us to thank Clovelly for its support during 2007, as well as spend some time with our Cape-based customers, thanking them for their support over the year," says Mike Smales, Regional Manager of Bytes Communication Systems Western Cape. "The Country Club was the perfect setting for a fantastic day, and much fun was had by all."

The Cape Town office of Bytes Communication Systems boasts a number of leading Cape businesses as its clients, including Parliament and Cargo Motors, to mention a few. The company is a specialist in the field of converged communications solutions, including networking and telecommunications solutions, and currently sells, supports and implements products from some of the world's leading vendors.

"The Cape region is a very important one for us and we have a diversity of clients in the area, right from big blue chips through to smaller enterprises," says George Isaacson, Managing Director of Bytes Communication Systems.

"That said, we feel it is important to take some time out once a year and to thank the people who continue to support our company by having faith in the solutions and services we provide."

In first place at the golf day, with 87 points, were A van Rooyen, L Corker, D English and B Jenkinson. In close second, with 86 points, were R Sleep, A Kent, K Kent and S Sleep. Taking third place, with 82 points, was the team of G Bowes, P Barrett, H Barrett and H Bowes; and coming in fourth, with 80 points, were A Lund, S Dunn, J Harrison and B Bensch.

Concludes Isaacson: "It is always great to spend time with our valued customers, and we would like to congratulate the winning four balls, as well as extend a big thank you to everyone who made this day such a success. Looking ahead, we look forward to a mutually prosperous and successful 2008."
